Lax-4-Life's Impact

My name is Corryne Sulpizio, I grew up in West Chester PA and currently play lacrosse at Slippery Rock University.This past year gave LAX4Life a whole new meaning for me. Losing people close to home really hit home how important it is to check in on friends and family, and even people you might not be close to and to let them know that it is okay to not be okay and to ask for help. Losing two people in such a short period of time truly spoke volumes to how anyone could be affected at any time. I just hope the more we talk about what is going on the better we can prevent losing such amazing people. When asked why I play lacrosse, after this year my answer is that I play for those who cant and to raise suicide awareness.
